Today, Crocus has a well qualified, experienced and professional staff and a fully automated production line. All products are manufactured in accordance with EU regulations.

Crocus designs and produces custom-built solutions for transport, drying, cooling and storage of grain and other bulk products.
Solutions are based upon a broad selection of standard products that may be modified and combined to meet specific requirements.
Crocus has a modern production facility with a fully automated production line and a highly qualified and professional staff with many years experience. Based upon this, Crocus is able to undertake both larger and smaller projects. Crocus can help with advise, drawing up plans, assembly, testing and commissioning.

Belt Conveyor
Crocus' Belt Conveyor is designed for the horizontal transport of cereals, granulates and/or meal products.
The Crocus belt conveyor consists of a motor section, a tensioning section and a number of extension sections. The belt runs in an open plate-steel trough between the motor and tensioning sections.

Chain Conveyor
Crocus' Chain Conveyor is designed for the horizontal transport of
cereals, granulates and/or meal products.
The chain conveyor consists of a drive terminal, a tension terminal and a number of extension sections. The chain runs in a closed plate-steel trough between the drive terminal and the tensioning terminal.

Bucket Elevator
Crocus' Bucket Elevator is designed for the vertical transport of cereals, granulates and/or meal products.
The elevator consists of a top section with drive-motor, an elevator footing where the belt can be tensioned and two vertical shafts. Grain is transported up one vertical shaft in buckets and the empty buckets returned down the second shaft.

Screw Auger
The Crocus screw auger is designed for the horizontal transport of meal products, pellets etc.
A screw auger consists of a drive section and a number of extension sections. The screw transports raw material along a closed plate-steel trough. Contact Crocus for further details.

Counterflow Cooler
The Crocus Counterflow Cooler is designed to cool and dry extruded and heat-treated feed and pellets.
The Cooler is available in two designs for flexibility of installation.
The square cooler can be supplied with an inlet capacity of up to 60 tons/hour and the round cooler up to 40 tons/ hour.
A relatively low aerodynamic resistance (due to the design of the discharge section) ensures a relatively low energy consumption.
The cooler can be equipped with a discharge hopper for fast change over. The system is both economic and effective compared with other systems.

Grain Dryer
The Crocus Grain Dryer is designed for drying cereals and oil seeds. The dryer has a modular design and is available in five standard models with a variable number of sections dependant upon capacity.
Each dryer consists of a pre-hopper, a number of drying and cooling sections and a discharge section. How these sections are combined determines capacity. Drying and cooling zones may be regulated with vents according to individual needs.
All Crocus grain dryers may be supplied with direct or indirectly fired heating sources for natural gas, oil and diesel. Extraction may be supplied with or without dust separation.

Steel silos
Crocus steel silos are manufactured in a square design for storage of grain and meal products.
Silos are designed for the individual client for storage of raw-materials, dosage and discharge silos etc.

Rotary oven
The Crocus rotary oven is designed to dry and toast soya beans, pulses, oilseeds and cereals.
The Rotary oven is designed with a rotating process chamber where raw materials are exposed to infra-red radiation which efficiently breaks down complex starches and transforms proteins.
The end-product is used as raw-materials and components in consumer products and animal feed. End-products are easily digested and have a high nutritional value.

Grain aerator
The Crocus grain aerator is designed to reduce humidity in stored cereals.
The grain aerator consists of a 1.9 m. long perforated spear equipped with a handle that makes it easy to operate. Air is supplied by a 1,1 kW motor. The ventilator is mounted directly onto the aeration spear.
The grain aerator is screwed down into the product to be aired, the ventilator is mounted onto the spear and the motor is connected to the mains power supply. The grain aerator can aerate up to 100 tons cereals or seeds.

Potato aerator
The Crocus potato aerator is especially designed for aerating potatoes and other tubers. The aerator is comprised of a 3 kW axial fan that supplies up to 13.400 m3 air /hour with a 30 mm water column. The aerator may be used in both indoor and outdoor stores. The aerator is positioned with the cone directed downward into the stored potatoes and with free air flow to the ventilator fan. In this way it is possible to aerate up to 165 tons potatoes at 80m3 /tons / hour.
