History
The brothers Kristen and Kjeld Skov started on the farm of ?stergaard, ?sted in Northern Salling in 1954. In those days the farm had a large stock of cattle and pigs, but in the mid 60's they went over to broiler production and in this connection the first complete ventilation systems were developed. First with inlets of cast iron and compressed-air cylinders for automation.
Like this the sale of ventilation systems started already in 1966 for poultry houses as well as pig houses. The development of the ventilation department started parallel with a large extension of the poultry production and the starting of a new feed mill.
The number of activities led to the decision of building a new factory in Glyng?re. In 1979 a staff of 8 men moved into the new premises.
Through many stages of development as regards products and company, SKOV developed into the firm we know today. Today SKOV is a company in a large international concern which bought the company from Mr. Kjeld Skov and SKOV Holding A/S in July 1993.
